We were tasked with creating a uniquely Cuban experience in each bar we visited to sample this quality 'ron'. To set the scene we mixed a modern Cuban soundtrack that included Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, The Clash, Fat boy Slim with a very strong percussion and brass Cuban influence. Our team who were Havana styled would set to work in each bar and our soundtrack would start accompanied by live bongos and a trumpet.
As the atmosphere became Latin, our team served freshly made Cuba Libres and Havana Club and Ginger cocktails. As the tempo increased, the atmosphere became more party like and our team broke into dance. Some bars were transformed into full parties with big smiles and Latin dancing while others were more relaxed. Our set up catered for both extremes and what lay in between. In every case after an hour we slipped out with 96 cocktails served and leaving a little of Havana in our wake.
